All\u00ed, el profesor Robert Dennis lo asesor\u00f3 mientras apoyaban a los estudiantes que necesitaban fabricar sus dise\u00f1os de ingenier\u00eda. \u201cTen\u00edamos un MILL<b>PWR<\/b> Control\u00e9 una fresadora Bridgeport en el laboratorio, junto con algunas otras herramientas, y pude hacer todo tipo de cosas. De inmediato, pude comprender la programaci\u00f3n conversacional en la MILL<b>PWR<\/b> ya que es como tener una discusi\u00f3n con alguien. Aproximadamente 25 estudiantes de ingenier\u00eda biom\u00e9dica reciben esta experiencia en \u201cThe Shop\u201d por semestre, aunque ese n\u00famero puede variar. <\/span><span style=\"color: var(--awb-text-color); font-family: var(--awb-text-font-family); font-size: var(--awb-font-size); font-style: var(--awb-text-font-style); font-weight: var(--awb-text-font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--awb-letter-spacing); text-align: var(--awb-content-alignment); text-transform: var(--awb-text-transform); background-color: var(--awb-bg-color-hover);\">Un ejemplo de uno de los cientos de proyectos supervisados por Emanuel a lo largo de los a\u00f1os incluye un <\/span><span style=\"color: var(--awb-text-color); font-family: var(--awb-text-font-family); font-size: var(--awb-font-size); font-style: var(--awb-text-font-style); font-weight: var(--awb-text-font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--awb-letter-spacing); text-align: var(--awb-content-alignment); text-transform: var(--awb-text-transform); background-color: var(--awb-bg-color-hover);\">Estudiante de posgrado en biomedicina de la UNC <\/span><span style=\"color: var(--awb-text-color); font-family: var(--awb-text-font-family); font-size: var(--awb-font-size); font-style: var(--awb-text-font-style); font-weight: var(--awb-text-font-weight); letter-spacing: var(--awb-letter-spacing); text-align: var(--awb-content-alignment); text-transform: var(--awb-text-transform); background-color: var(--awb-bg-color-hover);\">proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n. Emanuel explica que cada canal de pista ten\u00eda 0,020\" de ancho por 0,010\" de profundidad y que el material que eligi\u00f3 fue acr\u00edlico. \"Originalmente intentamos desarrollar esta pieza con un cortador l\u00e1ser, pero eso no funcion\u00f3 muy bien, as\u00ed que usamos algunas fresas de extremo muy peque\u00f1as y programando en la MILL<b>PWR<\/b>\u201cPudo producir con \u00e9xito su dise\u00f1o y avanzar con su investigaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Emanuel a\u00f1ade que el apoyo que ha recibido del personal de Acu-Rite Solutions tambi\u00e9n ha marcado la diferencia, ya que le ha ayudado a utilizar todas las funciones de los controles. \u201cHa habido muchas ocasiones en las que he tenido que llamar y me han sido de gran ayuda para ayudarme a resolver los problemas que ten\u00eda en mente\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Emanuel tambi\u00e9n se complace en compartir que \u201cLa Tienda\u201d en su departamento cuenta actualmente con dos MILL<b>PWR<\/b>s, as\u00ed como otros dos en uso en el Departamento de Salud P\u00fablica de la UNC. Y para apoyar el amor por el mecanizado en otros proyectos fuera del sitio, \u00e9l y el Dr. Dennis tienen un laboratorio personal con otros tres MILL<b>PWR<\/b>s.
